Shareholders Agreements
Many business owners with more than one shareholder have never taken the time to write a robust shareholders agreement that considers all possible scenarios for those shareholders involved.
Some business owners have left this task to their lawyers assuming all is taken care of, without ever reading or understanding the implications. The difficulty with leaving this task to a lawyer is that just because something is legal it does not mean it is in everyone's best interest and a lawyer can only act on instruction.
