Most have the attitude of its not my concern, but you may be leaving unnecessary complications for your loved ones left behind. For example, have you considered that you will be in business with your partners 'Next of Kin' should they die,? Would that person have your best business interest at heart or would they be grieving the loss of a loved one?
This one on one coaching allows you to consider all of the outcomes - partners, spouses, ex-spouses, children, selling, and structure. You will end up with a specific action plan that will allow you to instruct lawyers, accountants, and insurers with exactly what needs to be done, and keep their chargeable time to a minimum. Your experienced impartial business coach will guide you through a series of thought provoking scenarios, and facilitate discussion with you and your partner(s) to agree outcomes.
You will all have a clearer understanding of the scenarios that could play out for your personal situations. Most businesses require a 3 to 5 sessions to complete this process and many will need to consider also looking at their shareholders agreement in this process.
